IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF FEELING UNWELL, PLEASE CALL AND CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT. THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE.
A Valid Doctor's prescription or a referral from a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Naturopathic Doctor, an Acupuncturist or any regulated health professional will be required for all Massage Therapy treatments. This is mandated by our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Deena Hinshaw as of December 22, 2020.
All Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Personal Yoga and Naturopathic Medical treatments involve some risk of COVID-19 transmission. The nature of treatment does not allow for physical distancing.
Our practitioners are following protocols to reduce or mitigate risks. However, no protocols are perfect and therefore the risk cannot be reduced to zero.
As we cannot reduce risk to zero, we are requesting that clients with compromised immune systems or at risk of serious complications avoid treatment at this time.
By choosing to proceed with treatment you are accepting all risk of exposure and agree not to hold the clinic liable for any and all potential exposure to COVID-19 resulting from the treatment or your time in the clinic.
If you arrive at the clinic with any signs and symptoms of Covid-19 you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Allergy symptoms that are not controlled might present like Covid-19 so please plan accordingly.
What we will do to keep you safe
Daily screening of staff.
Limit number of people in the waiting room. Staggering of appointments.
When you arrive please head straight to wash your hands. There will also be hand sanitizer available.
We will use physical distancing as best we can except during the treatment.
Enhanced cleaning procedures. All common and frequently touched surfaces and entire treatment area will be sanitized.
Therapists may cancel their day if they feel unwell, become ill or if someone in their family/household becomes ill.
If you are coming from work or an environment in close contact with other people, we ask that you shower and change clothes before coming to the clinic.
Appointment times are scheduled to reduce the potential of patients crossing paths, and to allow for time in-between sessions for enhanced cleaning.
Patients are not permitted to lounge in the clinic reception area before or after the treatment.
Coffee, tea and water have all been removed from the clinic reception area.
