Amanda graduated from MH Vicars school of massage in 2008 and started her massage career in the Bahamas. She has always had a fascination with how the body works and that drew her into a career as a Registered Massage Therapist.

In her free time she can be found walking her dog in the neighbourhoods in West Edmonton, in the kitchen making treats for friends, gardening in the summer or playing board games. All while having a book or two on the go.

"Amanda gives the best massages. She can feel where I need the most “love”. I know she cares about doing what is the best for me and it shows! And it doesn’t hurt that she knows I love the heated table:)"  Julie S.

"I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. She gives incredible massages that have pieced me back together many a time. Having suffered from tension headaches for the best part of my life, I now feel I have finally discovered the cure! Plus, she knows that I walk to the clinic, so will turn up the heat on the massage table on cold days; that's how wonderful she is!" Julia A.

"For the last few months I have been experiencing unexplainable dysphasia and neck pain. I had several tests and treatments that all came back clear and so I finally tried a different route. Amanda’s massage therapy and Craniosacral therapy have been some of the most helpful treatments for me and have provided me with significant relief.

Amanda acknowledges and addresses areas that I mention as well as looks beyond the obvious areas to see if there might be something more underlying. There have been multiple times where I bring up a problem area and when she works on it there is noticeable relief. One of the more prominent symptoms for me was a clicking in the front of my throat when I tried to swallow. She worked for quite a while on my hyoid bone which lead to noticeable improvements after she released it.

Amanda is extremely intuitive and validates my experience of pain and discomfort. She notices what areas I am experiencing pain and comes back to areas that she can tell haven’t improved the first time through. When I bring up the unknowns in my issue I feel as though they are approached with curiosity and a desire to work through it with me, and I walk out feeling like I have been heard and helped."  Heidi P.
